He lives in a village, grows his crops, and tries to avoid trouble — yet his level is absurdly high that any mundane action becomes a heroic feat. A casual hoe strike can split a boulder in two, and a quiet walk through the forest ends with saving an entire caravan. The hero genuinely doesn't understand why everyone around him panics, since he's just doing his job, but rumors spread fast, and knights, mages, and officials begin flocking to him, each with their own requests and troubles. The series builds its humor on the contrast between the hero's calm demeanor and the massive scale of the consequences, as well as on his attempts to explain to those around him that he's not a hero — just a farmer who enjoys peace and quiet.
